“Charity is injurious unless it helps the recipient to become independent of it.”
“Don’t be afraid to give up the good to go for the great.”
Our team of specialists, therapists, mentors, and life coaches all believe that we have the power to choose our path in life. However, without the required skills that teach us how to face challenges and not shy away from adversity, we can often find ourselves deep down in a rabbit hole. Each and every single day, we work to teach our residents that they can choose their own pathways – they just have to learn these skills first. We believe that a helping hand can go a long way; thus, our semi-independent style of living provides guidance and enough liberty to the youth to make their way in life.
We are focused on teaching, nurturing, and developing required life skills in youth to overcome the challenges they may face in daily life.
While each of these challenges can potentially be devastating on the mindset of a young adult, none of them are insurmountable. Here at The Phoenix Hub, we’re focused on teaching, nurturing, and developing the required skills to overcome these challenges, so that our youth can go on to live meaningful and fulfilling lives independently.
